Frequently Asked Questions
If you have a question that isn't addressed here, please send us an email at support@biketrippin.com.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
You can get a temporary password mailed to you by clicking recover password. After you log in with your temporary password, you can change your password to something you can easily remember.
How can I change my password?
Log in using your current password, then go to “my account” to change your password.
What does it mean to add someone else's trip to my trip list?
When you add a trip to your trip list, you can keep track of your bicycle tours even if someone else on your tour created the journal, added the photos, or mapped the route. You won't be able to contribute to the trip, but the trip will be displayed in your trip list. If you decide you want to create your version of the trip, you can add a trip yourself.
How does Twittering work on BikeTrippin.com?
Using Twitter is a great way to keep your friends and family updated when you're on a tour. When you provide us with your Twitter username, we'll display your Twitter status updates on your Trip Overview page. Note that your Tweets must be public in order for us to display them (they are by default). If you don't have a Twitter account, it's simple to create one.
Why do I have to enter my Twitter username for each trip I create?
We set it up so this way so that you can use different Twitter accounts for different trips. This way, you have the option to create a Twitter account for each tour you go on and perserve your tweets as part of your trip.
