Today’s ride marked the beginning of the next leg of the trip. We rode out of the city like locals via “The Wiggle” route, the only route that avoids all the hills in the city. It was kind of like being on a bike highway.

After crossing the Golden Gate Bridge in the typical San Francisco fog, the weather cleared up. We crossed many types of terrain that day and ended up in the Redwood forest.
