Today’s ride was all about conquering the 2500 foot climb from Rockport to Leggett. Slow and steady, we made it to Leggett. We wanted to go see the “world famous” drive through tree, only to find out it was $3 per bicycle to ride through the tree. A whole family could drive through in a car for $5. Go figure! Needless to say, we did not ride through the famous tree. We rode on to camp and decided it was time for an official rest day.
