Rest days are nice, but it’s also time to catch up on all our chores. We did laundry in the morning, had lunch at the only store in town, and generally laid around for the rest of the afternoon. It was nice!

In Leggett we ran into lots of other cyclists, most of them going south along the Pacific coast. We met the first other cyclist going north, a French guy named Bruno who is doing a world tour and has been cycling for the last 11 months.
