After the arduous climb into Leggett, we had a nice, long day down into Weott, through the Redwood forest. It was the easiest 50 miles yet. We rode out with one more in tow, Bruno.

We got to Burlington Campground and slept in a dense grove of Redwood trees. It was peaceful and beautiful until the wind picked up and a branch broke off and fell from hundreds of feet above. There wasn’t much we could do, so we just went into our tents and crossed our fingers.
