We're heading back inland to our planned route.  The weather is warm, the roads quiet and gently undulating.  We should be set fair for a good distance today.

We eat our lunch at a picnic spot in the grounds of a chateau, which we realise we have visited before about 20 years ago.  I fall asleep in the warm sun, lying on a picnic bench.  Once we set off again after lunch, the legs feel like two planks of wood and neither of us can really get going again - we must be tired.  Although we have had a  short day in between, it is actually about 10 days since our last full day off.  We need to find a nice campsite and take a full rest day. 

Luck is with us; we make a short detour to a larger town and find a campsite straight away.  It is nearly empty and  in an idyllic setting, but no hot water - still you can't have everything in life.
