Saturday January 15th - White Solar Wind
Discovering Wien and its nice historical center, full of palaces, testiomny of the glory of the Habsbourg, emperors of Austria-Hungary. Clear sky, sunshine, rather cool. In the Augarten, a park between the Donau and the Donau kanal, there are two massive concrete towers. From my host, I learn there are FLAK towers, anti-aerial defense during World War II. While coming back I found an ashtanga yoga studio, the one giving daily Mysore classes. Two other studios offer this style in Wien!

Sunday January 16th - Blue Planetary Night
Fabian works in the morning, then we get to meet his friend Stefan for lunch. Both of them are busy with exams. In the evening, we go to Ganesha yoga for a led Primary Series class with Boris, THE teacher of Fabian. We start by mantras with harmonium which is my magical way to start a class. Boris gives accurate, precise adjustments, I am leaving the class happy and peaceful, determined to attend Boris's Mysore classes. Back home, brother and room-mate of Fabian, Matthias has cooked a delicious curry with his friends, the rest feeds two hungry ashtangis.

Monday January 17th - Yellow Spectral Seed
Starting with self-practice in the dedicated room, and roaming in Wien in quest for organic shops to find the special stuff that is unavailable in the organic brand of regular supermarkets. Passionate talks with my hosts: buddhism, yoga, religions in general. An uplifting company, something like satsang, maybe.

Tuesday January 18th - Red Crystal Serpent
Woke up early to jump on the bike to start at 7.00 an ashtanga yoga class Mysore style at studio Ganesha. The students singing mantras bring a holy atmosphere, magnified as the sun rises during our sun salutations. I get lost in the historical center while coming back, a nice sun shines on. After a brunch -I am starved- a bit of bike maintenance.

Wednesday January 19th - White Cosmic Worldbridger
Mission of the day: to find lanolin, a product to wash wool clothes which gives them more strength, advised by Leila. I have a big list of organic shops to look for it. In my quest I arrive near Schönbrunn park, under a soft rain. The castle is not special but the gardens on the hill are nice, views over the city. At 19h, I have organized a first yoga class to teach, in the yoga room of my hosts. A few friends of Fabian come and some couchsurfers: 8 students, I am back on teaching Vinyasa yoga. This is the start of an international career!

Thursday January 20th - Blue Magnetic Hand
Another Mysore class today, the schedule is reminding me of last spring in Yoga Moves with Barbara! My host from Traismauer is in Wien today with the forgotten towel. Meeting him is a good opportunity to cycle through the city. Back home in time for another yoga class to teach new students and some coming back from yesterday. Slower class, and for once not making it longer than 1h30.
